I am a recent graduate with CS background, and I was invited for a technical interview. Me and my recruiting contact made the interview appointment, but he did not join the call on that day. Later I received an email that he mistook the date and asked about my availability for the next day. I replied, but he did not send any confirmation nor joined the call again. Very disappointing. I got a reply 3 days later and he asked again to schedule the interview on the next week, plus my visa status. So I said I am an international and although I am eligible to work in the US now, I may need visa sponsorship in next 3 years. And that was the end of this conversation. If Wipro only hires US citizens, then they should have included a survey for visa status in the application process. It was such a waste of time and disrespectful.
