I applied to the position on University of Maryland's recruiting web site. I was selected to be interviewed and scheduled about 8 days later. The interview started out normal with you standard run of the mill interview questions. There seemed to be a focus on the company's mission, knowledge about company leadership, and why I, as the applicant, think I would be a perfect fit for Whole Foods. My recommendation is for individuals applying to this same position, or any position within whole foods to do extensive research about the company. The recruiter called me about a week after the interview to tell me I was the number 2 candidate, but was not chosen because the top candidate did much more research and seemed to be a better fit. I would have given the entire process a thumbs up, but the recruiter, who was one of the interviewers used profanity during the interview 3 times. This shows that the recruiter herself has a lack of professionalism.
