At first very clear process with recruiter but then very little communication and follow up. Screening call went well and the recruiter and I had a good conversation about my experience and the role. Set me up with the hiring manager. He was not very engaged. Showed up a couple minutes late, was on his computer and phone almost the entire time. Didn't seem to have enthusiasm and excitement I would expect from a leader. Was invited to another round but it was scheduled on Juneteenth. I requested to reschedule and followed up several times before actually getting an answer. Turns out they decided to put the role on hold. In the end, there was a lack of direction internally about how this role is structured and there was no real enthusiasm and excitement.
