Applied online, had contract recruit reach out; she emailed, asked for times 'this week;' replied with 1.5 hours, never heard, had to follow-up with 2nd reply - took her 3 days to reply (which truncated the week). Spent 50 minutes on the phone with her, she sent recommendation on to hiring manager. Following week, get email from guy asking times for 2nd interview with hiring manager; reply within 1.5 hours; again, no reply and I had to follow-up; then he picks a time, I say okay; then he emails a 2nd time changing it, I say okay; he then sends a meeting invite with a 3rd different time - I accept.
It is DEMANDED that interview is conducted via Google Hangouts (audio and video) - have to let that crap onto my machine.
Get set up for chat. Hiring manager acknowledges can see me, but declines to turn their camera on, working from home - and throughout the conversation repeatedly mutes the conversation (you can see that, idiot) and multiple times is interrupted by someone in the background.
Says next step is the guy who set it up will get with me.
I email that guy - and I get an email saying he has left the company. I email the first lady - she says everyone is traveling internationally.
I told her to remove me from consideration.
Totally obnoxious treatment from every single person involved.
Questions were totally basic - just background, sell yourself.

Took 5 rounds of interview in 3 days and asked week to release a offer then in end they asked more time to release offer. Why should the company takes these many rounds in a hurry when they are not able to release the offer

L1, L2 and L3 Interviews were conducted by Pune and US panel regarding Devops skillset and the roles and responsibilities were also discussed in-details with each interview time taken for almost 90 mins. I cleared all the round and later when HR discussed with me regarding CTC(Salary compensation), it was a low ball offer with very minimal budget. They said we don't have the desired budget for this role as i reiterated atleast match the offer what i am getting in the market. Initially they agreed with all the condition but at the end when every round was conducted gave me a nightmare. How would it feel after a month of conducting the interview rounds and later such demotivating response. Please avoid applying for Whirlpool if you want a good/fair compensation as per your roles and responsibilities.
