I got an initial screening call, and while they were using an AI bot to avoid taking notes so the interviewer could be solely focus and what I was saying, I felt unheard and not listened well. They would repeat 2 times the questions or when I informed I was laid off, they asked if I had any notice period.

After submitting my application online I received an email within 2 days to schedule a phone interview to discuss the role and my experience more. I thought the phone interview went great but I guess I thought wrong as I got a thanks but no thanks email the next day. I must say that was totally disheartening as I studied and researched their product so much prior to this and had genuine interest to becoming a contributing team member vs just getting job. I was asked a couple times through out the interview if I had questions so maybe use that time to ask vs waiting til the end to ask. I was asked to describe a time I didn’t know how to use something, why I’m interested and what does being proactive mean.

It is time consuming, but very necessary. I believe I had 3 interviews (one phone call with recruiter, two video interviews with managers). This was in the span of a week due to desired start date we were aiming for. This might be different for others. After my second interview I did have a take home assessment that was pretty nuance but now being part of the organization, I can see why those questions were asked. After the take home assessment, there is a reference check. Your reference have a series of questions they need to rate you as. My references did share it was a bit lengthy. After that is complete, they will move you to the final interview. If all goes well, a final call with your recruiter and an offer letter will be presented . It might have been my most quickest but difficult interview I have been part of.
