What do you know about SaaS?

Easy lay-up to know what SaaS is and how to execute. More difficult to know why they would only hire traditional 'box-sellers' at high-end Field Sales that base their sales on relationships and knowledge of their competitors old-way of selling. This is in contrast to an ability to take a fresh-approach to relationship selling in a new way and model to extract the most value across the span of roles. Don't we think everyone with IT sales backgrounds understands SaaS? (or PaaS, IaaS, etc...). The Account Manger roles are too easy to dissolve once the market has adopted their platforms. I do not feel secure about accepting a position that does not have the percieved value as their high-end. Readily apparent on their long-term goal.
