They required a video recorded, one-way interview before Actually meeting with anybody. It’s just you and the camera. No one else is there. It felt like more of a psychological study, since you didn’t know what kind of cold is it because you didn’t know what your audience looks like which is normally set by the greetings in a standard (even online) interview. You could also re-record your answer as many times as you want it. So this meant you either recorded it and just left it as it was, or kept editing yourself over and over. Because, if you can do it many times over, you wonder if they expect perfection. Also since you are talking to no one. It felt like you needed to become an actor and pretend. While this process may help them go through many candidates quickly it does not seem the best approach.
