I applied online as my experience and skills were matching to the requirements like ACL, Pursuing accounting qualification, Compliance. Immediately in two day i got call from HR in UK who asked for some basic question and tried to understanding my experience in this area. I was then asked to take up another telephonic interview with Senior Analyst who gave me the background of the position and interviewed me by asking questions relating to my CV. Then i was called on site for face to face round and the manager including the senior analyst interviewed me. I was confused as to what is the role because as per the job description it is Specialist but at the interview i was told its analyst. I was then informed that my qualifications, experience and knowledge level is good plus i have some project management experience which will add on value. I was asked if i could attend skype interview with department head in U.S. Thats it, my whole time was kind of waste, as i didnt get any calls for two week and i understood its just not happening. I got email from HR saying that they liked my profile but i do not have experience in that area that the co. is looking for. Wait a sec. i was interviewed 3 times and yet i was told that my experience is not sufficient ????? The basics - Any company should assess the candidate's background at the initial stage done by HR or in this case a member from the department. I was kind of motivated that i got the job because after clearing all interview rounds and reaching the final has got to do something positive or atleast the reason of not offering job should be strong.
