The interview process was pretty straight forward. It started with HR and then the senior manager. He asked me a series of questions in a phone interview and then we started to discuss salary. It was a seamless process for me because I was recruited by a recruiter.

I made it through 2 interviews. The first was with someone in HR. The second was with a panel of 3 over Skype. Fairly routine questions. Asked what I knew about the company. Asked about willingness to work non traditional hours.

Hiring process was great! I met with recruiter and manager through adobe. Team seems very kind thus far and has been readily available if I have questions or concerns. The culture seems very student and employee centered

If you have a terminal degree and any respect for yourself at all do not waste your time with this company. The first recruiter that contacted me rescheduled the interview 5 minutes past the start time. The second rescheduled the interview 5 minutes before. The third told me that you have to only work at WGU the first year to be considered. First of all, this is not on their job posting. Second - this totally negates the "competency model" and "call for industry experts". I have a terminal degree and a very high ranking industry job and I am supposed to quit that and benefit the students? It sounds like another diploma mill. Their recruiters show no respect for the people who apply so I cannot imagine how they treat their students.
If I was reviewing WGU as an outside entity (i.e. for student funding, accreditation, etc.) I would question their model based on their hiring practices.
