Have interviewed with Wellstar for multiple positions. Every time has been a terrible experience. For the first set of interviews, I started with a basic phone interview with HR where we discussed my skills & experience, the job description and the salary range. Scheduled an in-person interview for a few days later. At the in-person interview I realized that they were interviewing me for a lower-level position. I tried to explain, but the interviewers didn't listen. They made me an offer the day after the interview...for a salary well below what I was then making! They seemed genuinely surprised when I turned it down. A few years later, they called me to come interview for an open position. Same drill--phone interview with HR to cover the basics, in-person interview a couple of days later. In-person interview went well, seemed to be a good fit. Got a call from HR a couple hours after the interview that an offer letter would be emailed to me that day. About 20 minutes after the first call, HR called again and said that I needed to provide 5 references and have a phone interview with a Senior VP before they would decide on the offer. Had the VP interview--she was abrasive and seemed to think that I should be grateful just for the opportunity to speak with her. No offer. A week or two later, HR called me again, and asked me to come interview for a different position. Went in for the interview, but they were looking for someone with a different skill set than mine. It was not a job I was interested in at all, nor was I really qualified. The interviewer was not prepared and had not looked at my resume. When I explained my experience and skills, he ended the interview abruptly.
