The recruiter called, opened a book and started asking syntax questions.
It was my first time after college, which by the way was 13 years ago, I went through syntax based telephone interview and it took me a couple of questions to even understand where we going.
I said we should have a conversation on how to approach a problem and technically solve it so you get to know my experience, and the Human resource guy said he don't have enough time to talk in that detail.
Well right that moment I knew this is not a company I am ever going to join. I told him I don't want to take it any further and we concluded the interview.
The syntax questions were from ECMAScript which neither I ever worked on nor mentioned in my resume, but I am guessing he was holding an ECMAScript book and didn't knew what else to ask in NodeJs interview
