Thanks for your thoughtful review of your interview experience at WeddingWire. As a company that emphasizes the importance of consumer feedback, we discuss reviews like yours on a regular basis. We look to improve the quality of our candidate experience while simultaneously ensuring we are selecting candidates who become successful employees. We take the feedback very seriously and often make changes to our process as a result of reviews- i.e. we no longer do mock pitches based on candidate feedback.
As I read through your review, a few things stick out to me and I'd like to take a moment to highlight a few points- 1) YOU CARE! You clearly put a lot of time and energy into preparing for and considering WeddingWire as a potential employer. For that, my team and I are truly grateful. Changing jobs is a huge decision and its really great to read about your approach to your job search. 2) FRONT DOOR CHALLENGES I am really sorry. I have to say I cringed when reading your experience there. Yes, we are going through a renovation and our team thought we had worked out a clear system. Based on your feedback, we are working through a new arrival procedure in partnership with our building security team. 3) THE MANAGER SCREEN- I’m sorry you felt you didn’t have the manager’s full attention. We really work to create a candidate experience that is informative to the candidate and one where each candidate has an opportunity to put their best self forward. This feedback is helpful as we work on interview training for our managers and is a great example to stress the importance of being fully present during the interview process.
