Got an email inviting me for phone interview, no mention of for what role, so assumed it was for a role I applied for which was PR Manager. The interviewer was pleasant and the interview I felt went quite well, except that she expressed a concern that she thought I had too much leadership experience for the role, which puzzled me. Then I get a rejection letter for: Associate PR Executive! I wanted to bring the mix up to her attention in the hope that I could still be considered for PR Manager. I contacted Web Summit via their website asking for contact details for the recruiter, as there was no way of getting in touch with her. They said that she would be in touch with me but I haven't heard anything since.
