J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 2 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Wayfair (Boston, MA) en févr. 2016

      Entretien

Phone interview with the recruiter followed by 30 minute technical round with the hiring manager, who seemed very impressed and wanted to fly me to Boston for in person interview with the team. HR was professional and scheduled me for 3 sessions of interviews - 1 hour each, to meet 2 people of the team at a time - total of 6 people. Interview was scheduled for a Monday morning. I arrived in the room. One of the interviewers - seemed that she didn't even want to be there. They started the interview process without much of a smile and introduction about themselves. This one interviewer kept being nasty throughout the 1 hour interview - with her lack of humor during conversation. Both interviewed asked me questions from my background -- "tell me about a situation" questions..most of which didn't really apply to the position I was applying for (she even asked me tell me about a situation when I had to write my own code -- I was interviewing for a support position) . They fell short of questions and kept regurgitating the same question, everytime with different wording. I was appalled at these women's attitude. I have interviewed with top companies (even upto 3-4 hours) but no interview left me with a throat as sore as this one did. Why? Because I just couldn't tell this interviewer that she was being unreasonable. Anyway, they surprised me when the recruiter came to the room instead of the next people I was supposed to meet - telling me they are no longer interested in interviewing me. This is the first company this has happened to me - manager refusing to interview? The same person who wanted to fly me to Boston? Well, they do have a lot of respect for their own time - but not for the candidate's time who plans their travel and comes to interview with them from another state. I wish they had never contacted me in the first place. I consider every interview as a learning experience - but this was a disaster, leaving me humiliated as I've never been before.
