J'ai postulé via la recommandation d'un employé. J'ai passé un entretien chez Walmart Global Tech (San Francisco, CA) en avr. 2021
Entretien
The interview experience was horrible. I had 5 interviews for the onsite which were a combination of coding and ML/stats questions. The interviewers were very unfriendly and uninterested. It was "virtual" onsite, but half of them turned their camera off, clearly showing a lack of interest. They didn't give me any time to ask questions about the company and they all went over time, giving me little or no break time. One of the interviewers had a very strong accent, it was very difficult to understand what he was asking. He was rude and the questions he was asking were completely irrelevant to the job description. He wouldn't give me enough time to explain my work and kept interrupting me. It was clear from employee behavior that they were not happy working at Walmart and it was clearly reflected in the interviews. The questions were shallow and did not evaluate your thought process deeply.
Questions d'entretien [1]
Question 1
ML and coding questions. Shallow and basic ML questions. Coding questions were easy, except for one which was very hard (difficulty level was Expert in geeeksforgeeks) and the interviewer didn't make any efforts to explain it properly.
3 technical rounds (all virtual)
First round: Coding ML, Deep Dive ML Concept, General Discussion
Second Round: Resume deep dive, ML Depth, ML Breath
Third Round: ML Design, Coding, Resume Project

The interview with the HR was just automated through email and then the hiring manager interview was THOUGH. The interviewer went through all DS/ML textbook question focused heavily on statistics

online technical round after recruiter call. After this, onsite of 4-5 rounds. Looks pretty straight forward and standard. I didn't get to the onsite round. I did pretty well on tech round so I believe they already filled the postion so I didn't get moved forward.
