J'ai postulé en ligne. J'ai passé un entretien chez Waitrose (Londres, Angleterre) en juin 2018
Entretien
Initial online application which involved a section to fill out basic info (details, qualifications and job history) and a couple of questions on interests and work availability.
Received emails inviting me to complete the situational judgement tests almost immediately. They weren't overly difficult, wanting you to focus on qualities such as teamwork and company loyalty, however I had to complete three different tests which is too many for the role I was applying for.
Within a week I heard back that I had been invited to a two-hour assessment centre at one of their offices in London. There were around ten of us in total, separated into two groups and asked to complete a group exercise allocating certain foods to customers based on preference, price etc. Then we each had one-on-one interviews and we could leave straight afterwards. Interview was pretty relaxed and I was asked basic strengths-based questions as well as ones on the company itself 'what drew you to apply', 'what are Waitrose main values'.
Overall the assessment took just over an hour and was easier than expected!
Heard back after around 10 days with an email explaining I had passed the assessment however that they didn't have any current suitable roles for me and would keep my applications on record for 3 months incase something came up.
It has since been 2 months and I recently received a phone call offering me a position which I declined.

I applied for a Supermarket Assistant vacancy for all SW London stores (If your applying for a London specific vacancy, please ensure you apply ASAP, they only keep the vacancies for London open for 24 hours max), an early application, is always the best application) I am very happy that I have been given an offer! This was honestly one of the best interview/application processes I've been through, everything went smoothly, and on a timely manner. I applied for the role a week ago, and the next day received an email to say I have been invited for an Interview. You then schedule yourself in for an Interview. Literally 2 days after the Interview, I was called and told I have passed the Interview, and they would offer me a vacancy. My best advice would be to research Waitrose' core values and behaviours, and also research company trends. I have put the questions below. Towards the end of the interview, they'll confirm your right to work, your availability, and your preferred locations.
