Had an initial call with someone from HR then did a first interview with the hiring manager. After that, I did a business case which I presented and had an interview afterwards. After this whole process, the company was not decent enough to get back to me after the last interview so did all these interviews and never got a response after I was told i'd hear back from them two weeks at the lastest. Having taken the time and effort to do multiple interviews and a business case that I presented to multiple company stakeholders, I expect that I will get a response stating whether or not i've gone on to the next round not radio silence.

I was recruited via LinkedIn to apply for this position in November of 2022. After applying, I was invited to an HR interview (standard questions), to an interview with the head of department (more behavior focused/experience questions), and finally a case presentation with a short Q&A afterwards. The actual interviews were very professional, but their communication with potential recruits is appalling. After my case presentation, I heard nothing, and had to ask for status updates every step of the way. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt because of the approaching holiday, but it would frequently take days to get a response. I wasn’t officially notified I wasn’t moving on until 3 weeks after my case presentation, and only because I reached out. When I got the rejection email, I was also taken aback by the extremely generic feedback (“we’re moving forward with candidates who are a closer match”) that one typically receives in the resume rejection round. I find it extremely unprofessional that after asking potential recruits to do a lengthy case presentation that that’s all the feedback they could muster. It’s rude and inconsiderate considering the time spent.
I would advise the recruiters and the team to invite less people to the case presentation if they can’t be bothered to take the time to provide non-generic feedback. I was especially surprised by this since everyone I spoke to went on and on about their amazing company culture…if the company truly values people, this should be reflected in the care and consideration they give people during the recruitment process. It was very disappointing, not because i didn’t get the job, but because of the unprofessional and inconsiderate way that this was communicated. I really expected more.
