It is a four part interview. Phone screen, interview with hiring manager, SQL assessment, and an onsite 3-stage interview for 30 minutes each. The interviews were not hard by any means, at least on face value. I felt it went well and at the conclusion of my onsite, I was emailed a couple days later simply saying they were not going to extend an offer. No other details were provided. I felt each step of the interview went well.
My biggest gripe was their lack of professionalism. They took a very long time to get back to me after each step. After I spoke to the hiring manager, they didn’t get back to me until 7+ days had passed. But then expected my coding exam to be turned in within 48 hours. The onsite requirement was honestly ridiculous. I went into the office for an onsite interview and one of the interviewers was remote. There was no need to have an onsite, there was no white boarding session or anything. It could’ve easily been online. I also had a concluding session with the hiring manager, but all they did was walk me to the door. I don’t feel like I was given a fair shake. It was as if they already made their minds up and weren’t going to bring me on because from my standpoint, I proved my worth and felt no inclination that I couldn’t fulfill the job.
