Le processus a pris 4 jours.
Entretien
In the course of a job application process for a Sr. SEO Manager role, the company's HR contact requested free SEO consulting under the guise of an "SEO assessment." The questions asked were many, complex and particular to their web property, its performance and history.
In other words, actual SEO and user engagement issues they face today. Good answers would take hours of investigation and analysis, dependent upon data unavailable to any outside resource, in addition to a knowledge of the company's strategic direction and goals.
In response, I did my very best to walk them through my differential thinking and considerations that could be explored. Two days after delivering a brief on the matter, I received an automated message that they have no positions for me at this time. That's it.
BEWARE! It seems they're trying to mine knowledgeable applicants for free advisements, rather than make a qualified hire. Don't invest your expertise and free time in good faith.

Please compare to competitors and write a detailed assessment of why you think it’s not ranking higher than the pages above it. Which tactics would you select to improve the ranking, and how would you implement those tactics over time to increase the ranking and drive more qualified traffic to the page? Is it possible to get this page to position 1 for the query? If so, how would you do it? Please be specific in your response. In other words, don’t just say “get more links”, but tell us where you would get them from and how you would get them without paying for them.
Please look at the Justin Bieber page, which is currently ranked #27 in Google for [justin bieber tickets] after being ranked #8 in late June this year.

Please detail your process for finding what (if anything) is wrong with this page and how to fix it. What tools would you use to assess the downturn in rankings and how would you use them? What tools would you use to increase the competitiveness of the page for the keyword in question? Finally, what’s your assessment of the page for the keyword in question? What would you suggest we do to get it back on page 1?
It can be difficult to get people to want to link to pages that are seen as commercial, especially for acts that don’t have a huge online presence. How would you work with the content and outreach teams at Vivid Seats to drive more followed links and increase the visibility of the David Gilmour page at http://www.vividseats.com/concerts/david-gilmour-tickets.html? What content should we create to organically drive links and what communities and other web sites should we make aware of this content? Please be specific in your response, including the reasoning for your selections.
