There were three interviews, first was the phone screen with HR which was pleasant enough. Second was the teams interview with the hiring manager and that went pretty well too. The wheels absolutely fell off in the in-person interview. They triple booked the same interview slot, so they called me 2 hours before I was supposed to come in and practically begged me to arrive ASAP so I managed to get there an hour early, that's red flag #1, they can't even get their calendar scheduled properly. The hiring manager had a major attitude during the interview, it was really odd, almost a different person entirely from whom I spoke to on teams. Almost everything he said to me was dripping with condescension. Hiring manager asked me senior level cloud architect questions for a position that was half help desk and half infosec per the job description--if I could answer those questions I would be interviewing for a senior cloud architect role making twice what this role offered. The best part? Hiring manager asked me if I had kids??? That's highly unprofessional and in many instances illegal. Do not walk from here, RUN.
