The entire experience was odd. The initial contact started with a phone call. I attempted to return the call and was unsuccessful multiple times. Then, I received an email stating that they tried to call me. I responded to the email and eventually received a call back. I scheduled the interview. That day of the interview I received both text and email messages requesting that I confirm the interview. I'm not sure why I would need to confirm the interview, or twice or that matter. That should have been an indicator that people bail on them a lot. I was starting to get concerned about whether this company was legitimate because they were almost trying too hard to get people in the door. I was curious so I still went to the interview. Upon arriving to the office, i was disappointed to find the office to be dirty and very unprofessional. The floors had shredded paper pieces, the walls were scuffed up, the pictures were in dollar store frames that were cracked and barely hanging on the wall. The front desk employee had music playing quite loud and asked me to fill out an application. I had previously already applied online and submitted my resume. The application was the most simple form I had seen. I'm sure fast food restaurants have more complete applications. After returning the "application" and my resume I waited 20 minutes. I then reconfirmed my appointment time with the front desk. I found this quite ironic considering they sent me multiple forms of confirming my interview yet they were not held to that same appointment. I waited a few more minutes and explained that I needed to leave if they were unable to see me in the next few minutes. At the 25 minute mark I walked out. A couple hours later I received an email from the hiring manager apologizing for the "short wait" and inviting me for another interview. After sharing that I did not feel my time was respected I respectfully declined.
Point of the story, I question the legitimacy of this organization.
This company may suit someone who is right out of high school or college with limited experience however, as a professional that has been in the workforce for 16 years I found the entire experience to be a mess and waste of my time.
I did not use Glass door prior to taking the interview, big mistake! I learned my lesson. Had I read some of the review prior I would not have been so curious about this company.
