There were two interview stages, the first was the HR interview. As it happened, I was interviewed by an HR representative from Malaysia, she was very nice and helpful, and the interview atmosphere wasn’t as nerve-wracking as I had imagined. The interview was conducted in English, and I was asked about the details on my resume and whether I was willing to do an internship in Jakarta. After that, the very next day, I was informed of the schedule for the interview with the hiring manager, which was set for a week after the HR interview. The interview with the hiring manager focused more on the technical aspects of the role I was applying for. I was interviewed by two people from the UK, and they were very friendly toward me even though I stumbled over some English vocabulary.
