Quite a frustrating process. I initially applied for the Strategy Director role, had the initial HR interview and booked in for a follow-up. That interview was cancelled the morning of, due to an emergency at their end. Got a rejection through shortly after (could have just said). I was then asked if I wanted to apply for the Strategy Manager role. Initially said no, but was given the hard sell. Agreed to an interview, and again was scheduled but cancelled and then received a rejection. Overall, just disappointing. Would suggest you get your shortlist together before offering interviewss.
