I took my application back to store. I handed it to a lady. She looked at it and asked if I could come to a group interview the next day. The interview was a group interview. There were 6 of us. She said she was going to do something different for our interview. She put us in pairs. We had to find out each others` name, where we are from, our favorite Victoria's Secret product and favorite movie. Then, we went around and introduced our partner to the group and told about them. Then, one person in each group of 2 picked a strip of paper from her hand. The paper had a scenario on it. The person with the paper was the customer and it told what you were supposed to be looking for in the store. You had to pretend to be that customer by expressing what you read as a conversation to your partner who was the employee. Your partner pretended to be the employee assisting you in the store. The two interviewers just walked around and listened to us. Then, we had to swap partners. They went around and asked each group of 2 a question. We each answered the question the best we thought. Then, they said they would call us back by Monday if we were going to be hired. This was Tuesday night (interview was at 7 PM).

Interview was fairly easy. My hiring manager had me there on the spot for onboarding. Process went fairly quickly, and I was trained shortly after. I started on the week of black Friday which was a little rough, but it wasn't too bad. My hiring manager was kind but some of the other managers aren't as nice.

I applied through their careers page and received a confirmation email. The store manager texted to schedule a 30 minute, easygoing in-person interview. Shortly after, I was called and offered the job, with employment forms sent via email.

I have never felt more disrespected and belittled in an interview in my life. My job history was ridiculed, my character was ridiculed. I’m well above the age of being a minor and I was talked down to as such. My interview lasted a whopping 7 minutes.. I was 10 minutes early… I do not remember the name of the woman who interviewed me, but I highly recommend finding anyone else to interview candidates. She didn’t know how to talk to me without a condescending tone and attitude, and what was expected, schedule wise, of the position was not fully mentioned in the job listing. I filled out the application on Victoria’s Secrets’ website, filled out the availability form online, but still was made to refill it out in person and reiterated my entire job history. The job history I filled out manually on their website, and then attached the file for my resume. Still, I was made to reiterate the last 3 job I had, was stopped before the forth job, and belittled that all I have to show is seasonal work. My interviewer had no want to get to know me or my circumstances. She did not care about the interview process and she treated me like I was wasting her time even though the store had 0 customers at the time. If she was willing to treat and talk to me like that during interview, how would I had been treated after I was hired?
