J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris plus d'une semaine. J'ai passé un entretien chez Victoria's Secret (Honolulu, HI) en août 2011

      Entretien

So I applied online and got an email sceduling my interview with a list of dates and times. then i had to wait for a confirmation. then i had to re-scedule my interview because i guess thet weren't doing interviews that day anymore. so finally it was confirmed. i had two weeks so i decided to look up questions they asked from this website from other people who got interviewed and i just studied them and memorized them. on the day on the interview, I wore all black and kept my hair and makeup simple. I had a lot of time to kill so I ended up shopping around first. I went to victoria secret to get some stuff and i even asked a girl how was the interview. basically she didn't want to tell me but said she's sure i'll do fine. so then i rushed to ala moana pacific center which is very confusing because you need to take two elevators to the top floor and the elevators arent even next to each other. plus on the day of the interview, someone got stuck in the elevator so i had to climb all those stairs to the top floor. I went in and she checked me in and handed me an application to sign and walked me to the table where all the other people were coming and she handed me another paper and asked me for extra references because they need a lot. so awhile everyone else came, she told us to form a circle and sit and she asured us it was a comfortable conversation, not a uptight interview. basically we introduce ourselves and she asked us questions about what we think about the company, questions about us, where we want to work and what department. she askes questions but not everyone answers it because she'll change it or she will just ask us a different question directly. she barely asked us any job questions, mostly just talking about ourselves. it lasted an hour. and at the end we just asking questions and turned in our applications. then she walked us out. (plus she does say that you have to work on the weekends and at least on week day and work all 3 holidays or they wont offer you the job. and the scedule you give, you have to stick with for 90 days. and you don't need any job experience but you need to be 18 years and older. everyone starts part-time despite your experiences, scedules, etc) then it was a waiting game. i was nervous because i barely said anything. and i realized, i was the only one that dressed professional. the other 5 girls literally wore jeans, a regular shirt, and sandals. and im here all black with a bebe dress thats below my knees and black suede pumps. and i was a little mad that i studied 7 pages back and forth full of questions for nothing. but i kept my confidence up thinking that my references out a good word, my open scedules, my passion for fashion, and that i dressed professional. i waited and got an email saying that my references didnt answer or call them back. so i had to call all my references and a few extra people to do a reference for me with the questions VS sent me and they have to email it to VS. but the thing is that, all my references said they didn't call. but whatever, i dont care. it is what it is. then 8 days later, they finally called me offering the job. they sceduled my days for training and answered someone of my questions. im so happy that victoria secret will be my first job ;) and you get paid for the training days. its 3 days of mandatory training for four hours.

Hiring managers prioritize your personality, availability, and customer service mindset, looking for candidates who are friendly, adaptable, reliable, and comfortable engaging with customers, rather than focusing heavily on prior experience or technical skills.

Very easy, first a phone call then meeting in person. Took a while to be seen in person even after the scheduled meeting time, they had me just kind of stand in a corner for a while waiting for someone to become available.
