Pathetic talent acquisition review process. I am one on the highest trained SATCOM technicians available in my area. I also have additional qualifications that are not only desirable but very rare in commercial SATCOM work. Talent acquisition told me I did not meet key qualifications and then when asked they were unable to provide me with what qualifications I was missing. Then attempted to tell me that I was qualified but not desirable. They further lied to me telling me that they had a very large number of qualified candidates, not possible in this area, and they were only moving forward with one candidate to the interview stage. What company rejects all qualified applicants except one based solely on a resume. Viasat talent acquisition has a bad reputation and now I know from experience that it is well earned.
