I applied online and was sent an email by the recruiter to schedule an interview. Which I did. On the day of the interview, literally 30 mins before. They reached out to let me know they are looking for someone with EdTech experience. Did you not know that before you emailed me? Or before you scheduled the interview? What a waste of time. Terrible disregard for candidates time and I find that usually reflects how they treat their employees.

The process was multi-staged, and just like the whole organisation, very professional from start to finish. I was asked searching questions yet they made me feel at ease. It was helpful that I had plenty of opportunity to discuss the role in more detail.

Very poor communication and updates from the hiring team requiring multiple emails to work out were you stand. They don’t stick to their own deadlines in terms of when they say they will get back to you, obviously because they are too busy offering to the successful candidate whilst they deliberately keep you hanging as a reserve candidate for weeks.
