Question 1
How would you build a classifier? How would you improve it? What then? What then....?
I understand that interview process can take time, however it is time for both the job seeker and the company. After 3 months and multiple interviews they "forgot" to let me know that they were not interested in me anymore. This seemed to me like a lack of respect towards my time and attention. I can totally understand you go a different way and select someone else, but the least you can do is let the person know.

I interviewed with a European-based data team for a machine learning position. The team works on Veeva Link product. The interview in my case had four stages: - Hiring manager interview. - Technical interview (though I wouldn't really call it purely technical; it mostly focused on my work experience and included some machine learning-related details and a couple of easy questions about how to approach specific problems). - A take-home task. With 3h time limit, nothing special. - A "Job History" interview, which, in fact, was conducted by a different person (data scientist) than originally intended (director of data science). I expected it to be a standard behavioural interview. But it involved a 30-minute conversation about my childhood and answering very personal questions. It felt really awkward and unnecessary. After the last interview, I didn't hear from them for 10 days. Since I had another job offer on the horizon, I inquired about the expected timeline for their feedback regarding the last interview. Unfortunately, I was ghosted and never received any response from them, except for an auto-generated rejection email that arrived one month later. Overall, all the people I interacted with were nice. However, due to the awkwardness of the fourth stage and being left in the dark after investing a lot of effort, especially with the three-hour home task, I would classify my overall experience as negative.
