But the company is requiring applicants who interest them to spend 2 to 3 days on creating a case study on how you would solve the problem you would be hired to solve. A presentation on a business issue to understand your critical thinking, ability to use the right data and to present is valid, if still a huge time commitment. The problem is that they're having everyone do this. There's nothing to stop them from taking all of the input and using it without hiring you. This isn't just paranoia - it happens all the time in business so just beware of the possibility.
