J'ai postulé via un recruteur. Le processus a pris 1 semaine. J'ai passé un entretien chez Vectra AI en juin 2024
Entretien
The first was a short standard 30 minute interview with HR, The second was a 60 minute coding interview in Python. Prior to the interview, I learned the interviewer has written 3-4 books on the subject. The interviewers were a bit dispassionate and got straight to coding. That's all it was - no questions about myself or my 28 years of experience, and no opportunity to learn more about the position. These types of interviews are OK for a minimal bar, but when it is the ONLY bar, then I think it says a lot about the company. I suspect they may get a lot of great Python programmers but everything else that matters is a lottery.
Questions d'entretien [3]
Question 1
The first coding exercise was to make sense of code that was deliberately obfuscated with single-letter functions and arguments. Basically, learn everything about it.
J'ai postulé via une agence de recrutement. Le processus a pris 4 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Vectra AI (Dublin, Dublin) en déc. 2023
Entretien
A couple of informal chats followed by an easy coding puzzle, then a rather large system design assignment where they were frankly asking for way too much. The process felt quite heavyweight, like they were terrified of hiring an imposter.
