I submitted an application and then had a phone interview. After the phone interview I was asked to prepare a lesson about a subject area I wanted to tutor and teach an individual over skype because I was far away at the moment. Then a background check was submitted afterwards and I had to submit transcripts.

You are sent a link to an online video interview. They ask you about previous tutoring experience and the last question was asking you to do a mock-tutoring session. It's very awkward because you have to make up what you want to teach on the spot, but you get unlimited time to think of responses.
