J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris plus d'une semaine. J'ai passé un entretien chez Vanguard (Malvern, PA) en févr. 2021
Entretien
Initial phone screen by Vanguard recruiter to review background, skillset and job requirements. Interview was virtual due to Covid-19. Two interviewers, dept. manager and tech. lead. More in-depth discussion of background/experience. Ended with coding test. Fairly simple skills tests, but a bit weird to ask a 20 year veteran to show I can reverse a string...something I've never had to do in real life, BTW. Seems like they're looking for pure full stack developers with advanced sql experience...not sure why I was even in consideration as my experience has zero full stack and only basic sql.

Question 1
Write a function to determine if a given string is a palindrome
It was a 2 round process one with HR and the other with the manager they dug deep on my resume and my past projects and previous working experience along with behavioral questions.

Met with Team Leader via online meeting. Basic programming questions, became more broad. He was late, it was a Friday morning, and it looked like he had just woken up.

Question 1
Basic concepts, rxjs fundamentals, how would you reverse a string, etc.
They started by introducing themselves and giving me a quick overview of the company, the team structure, and what the role would involve. Then they asked me to talk a bit about myself and walk through my resume. I highlighted a few projects that matched the job description, and they seemed really interested in my work with data visualization.
