My whole interview process took 3 weeks. I went through a staffing/recruiting agency. I initially had 2 conversations with the staffing agents. At first, I was recruiting for a Business Analyst role so I had a conversation with a manager in that group. After that conversation, he thought I would be a better fit for the Digital Strategy group so he referred me to a person from the Digital Strategy group. I had two additional 1:1 interviews with the Digital Strategy group and got my offer 2 days after my last interview. Most interviews were very conversational with behavioral questions and no case-based questions. All the interviewers from Valorem Reply were super friendly. They genuinely wanted to get to know my past experiences, my skills, and my goals to then find the best fit for me. They also made sure to leave ample time for me to ask questions. They were very open to sharing the working culture and types of projects that Valorem Reply does.
Advice:
- Do your research about the company and its strengths.
- Learn about yourself and know your stories on key areas: project experience, teamwork, quantitative analysis, etc.
- Prepare a lot of questions for your interviewers. If you can, ask for their names from a recruiter, research them on Google/LinkedIn, and draft personalized questions about their experiences.
- Make sure to be concise and to the point. Keep your behavioral stories at 4 min max. You can end your behavioral answers by saying "I am open to sharing more details in areas that you are interested in."
