At first it was online task that was based on on algorithms. After it was call interview. After this interview I had a call with HR, who asked why I want to work at vmware and what salary I expect. After that there was an interview in office with 4 different people.

There were lot of algorithmic questions that were depend on strings, numbers array. There were questions related to multithreading, design patterns, java class loading, distributing systems.
