First when you sign up you meet with someone in the actual office and do a mock demo class with them. If you pass, you then move one to two different mock demo classes done by 'actual teachers' that teach students in Beijing. If the mock teachers don't like the 'littlest' thing you do, they yell at you, tell you that you won't make it here, and try to throw all your education experience out of the window because it wasn't online. My second mock class, I was actually yelled at by mock interviewer because she said I didn't understand the curriculum well enough (which is true because I only had what they gave me to prepare, nothing else which doesn't give her the right to yell at me and tell me I have no business being a teacher). Six years of education experience doesn't give a 40 year-old woman the right to yell at me because I am getting used to a different style of teaching.
