I was supposed to have an interview at 7:30PM and no one showed up on Skype to interview me. They called 45 minutes later saying that they had a technical issue and could I sit down to interview then. I was not able to as I was on my way to another engagement. I rescheduled the interview and prepared a lot for it; I practiced extensively. It is my first time tutoring online, so working with the camera was new for me. The interviewer was very harsh with her criticisms and said that I was unprepared because I had not created flashcards and developed a fun and engaging background with a reward system, even though at no point in the preparation materials did it say that this should be done for the interview process. I followed all of the directions very carefully in the curriculum. It turns out that there are many things that the interviewer wanted done that was not written in the curriculum and sometimes even conflicted with what the directions in the curriculum stated. Overall it was a horrible, time consuming, and frustrating interviewing experience. I was offered to move on to the next step, but I was so displeased by my experience so far that I decided not to move forward with the company. I do not recommend.
