I had two really positive interviews with the hiring manager. The second interview involved a complex assignment which I completed with great care and detail. The hiring manager said it was exactly what they were looking for. They said they’d get back to me on a third interview. Then they ghosted me. I emailed the hiring manager two weeks later and never heard back. Not even a rejection email. I was really excited about this opportunity but this experience really left a bad taste in my mouth.
