Received email from recruiter to schedule an 30 phone interview after applied online after 2 weeks (around holidays). Whole experience was neutral. Recruiter wasn’t interactive/uninterested. Only provided short answers when I asked to provide examples and/or elaborate on particular experience. Phone session ended short but was given time to ask questions. I was told they had already completed few on sites interviews candidates where they are finalizing their selection. Felt like I was only there to fill the gap when they should’ve their selection in mind. Sent an thank you email promptly after the interview then follow with rejection email a day after.
I don't like how HR calls you directly instead of reaching out via email first. Hiring manager was great, but the experience with HR can be imrproved. After screening, it's interview with Hiring Manager, then assignment to present to panel.

Entretien
Hiring manager was five minutes late to the call. He then insulted the company I worked for and then asked me two questions before signing off. Five minutes total.
I then received a rejection a few days later. Incredibly disappointing and unprofessional.

Entretien
The first phone conversation was with the Recruiter. After that, I met with someone from the team over a Video call. The interviewer was distracted the whole time. She was typing on her computer. It was clear she was half listening to what I was saying. Then she went on for 5 minutes straight about how Slack has become her life after she joined the company. Guess that's what was keeping her busy when she was supposed to be interviewing. It looked like they had already hired someone or just wasn't interested. But definitely wasted my time.
