J'ai postulé via une autre source. Le processus a pris 2 jours. J'ai passé un entretien chez Urban Focus (Omaha, NE) en août 2015

      Entretien

I went to the first interview which the interviewer was over 45 minutes late to and I was not called by anyone at the company to let me know. The lady said there was an accident so I was understanding. The first interview was very quick and did ask much, just a "quick get to know you." 5 minutes long Then they asked me to go to an event that night. The event was at a Costco and the lady was all over everyone in the store trying to shop. She was obviously trying to get a sale and finally got a couple to try out the product. Then they said they might come back but she said "let me just put this in your cart and you can bring it back to me if you change your mind." After that she asked me some more questions in the interview and explained the pay/position advancement process. Start at minimum wage working nights and weekends. You would get 18% commission on sales.. In the interview she said we are just here to show the product, not to force anyone or pressure anyone. "I don't care if they buy the product." However, if you are being paid based on what you sell, obviously you care if they buy it. Especially when they're only paying you $8.25/hour your first few months. Anyway there are several steps to move up to Account Management where she told me I could make $25k/year per account and I would be guaranteed 3 accounts. I got done with the interview around 7:30 and was told that I needed to go home and write up a cover letter to their HR team sinceI wouldn't get to meet them. She said the email needed to be sent by 8:30 that night to move on. The process seemed very disorganized and like they expected you to drop everything ASAP for them. I understand they wanted to get people hired and make the process quick, but people have other responsibilities. You cannot expect someone to be available for an event the day of the interview unless you give them a heads up beforehand. Also, the cover letter should have been asked for prior to any interview. I declined the offer because I could tell they wanted me to make a rash decision by speeding up the process, the process was unprofessional, and I would not take a huge pay cut for this type of job.

      Questions d'entretien [1]

      Question 1

We have people with a lot more management experience than you. Why would we choose you over them? Why would someone leave their current job for this? What are 3-5 marketing techniques I used? (after watching her try to sell the product) You know the difference between indirect and direct marketing, right?
