Applied online and was called for an on-site after a easy initial screen by VP. From the get go their office looked a bit haphazard. One of the interviewer was rude and I could feel the they were snarky. I didn't want to be rude so I continued with the rest of the process. Although they keep telling you it's ok to not know something, they seemed to be not ok with that.

Overall a very positive experience: Recruiter (Mara) contacted me after applying online. She was quick to schedule a 30 minute telephonic interview with the hiring manager. The hiring manager asked some questions related to past work. Soon after that, onsite interviews were scheduled at San Mateo office. The interviews lasted about 2 to 3 hours and included coding questions and very specific questions related to my work experience. It was refreshing to see that the interviewers cared about past experience too and did not just do a cursory glance at the resume. Overall the interview experience was very good and people were very friendly. I had one last interview with the SVP next day, and a offer was extended. Due to commute issues, I did not end up accepting the offer. The recruiter and the hiring manager were very understanding of the situation.
