      Candidature

J'ai postulé via un recruteur. Le processus a pris 2 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez UnitedHealth Group (Brentwood, TN) en avr. 2014

      Entretien

The interview process was fairly typical. Initial interview was on the phone and then was schedule for a face to face interview. About 2 days later received a call with a "Contingent Offer". This is when it turn EXTREMELY unprofessional. In my contingent offer, I was advised that they had 'over-hired' and that although I will complete a comprehensive back check and if passed I would be on back up in lieu those hired before me were not successful in passing their back ground check or did not show up for training and advised that some one always drop out and I should be ready on that day . I was given a start day which was about a month out of the offer. Well by this time I am no longer looking for other jobs, only preparing for expected start day. 2 business days before I was scheduled to start a new recruiter call and advised that I only have 1 hour from the time of the call to report to work. I was also advised that they would call early and in the event there is not a spot I would be guaranteed a spot in the next training class. the recruiting was borderline threatening that I understand if they call and I don't answer I will loose my seat in the training class. Well Reporting day arrives and I am advised that everyone showed up for training and that I would no longer be needed and they do not have another training class schedule, but since I successfully pass all pre employment screening it is active for the next six months and to fill free to apply for anything position that may be suitable. Being optimistic I began a new search for employment within their company and applied and always received no response. I understand why they do it like, but that is a very unprofessional way to engage into hiring practices.
