J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 2 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Uber (Toronto, ON) en avr. 2020
Entretien
This was one of the most difficult job interviews I have gone through.
First I had a call with the recruiter - standard phone screen. On that call she let me know that she would be reaching out to schedule a 30 minute zoom with someone on the team.
I then interviewed with someone on the team as a situational interview. It was pretty straightforward.
The last step was to present a business case to a panel. It was very nerve-wracking but I felt the questions they asked me were fair and I had ample time to prepare. The last interview was about an hour long and the questions were about my presentation and also about my prior work experience.
First spoke to the Recruiter, then someone on the CS team. After they ask you to take a assesment and from there depends if you are moved to the next round,

(1) Screen interview with HR.
(2) Then Interview with team manager.
(3) Mock scenario : Prior to this 3rd round, we were given a mock scenario, details on the "issue" and what the assignment was. During the actual interview we role played as if the interview was the client. We had to create a presentation on how we would pitch a renegotiation with a "client".

Applied via LinkedIn, and was quickly emailed to set up a call with their recruiter. Had a weirdly dry call with her, in which she let me know that either this position or another open position would be a good match for my skills, and that she would follow up with me. About 30 minutes later, I got an automated email from Uber, thanking me for applying, but ultimately telling me that they are pursuing other candidates. It was bizarre and rude for the recruiter to trigger this email instead of just explaining this to me in our email thread, and would be the baseline respectful thing to do (if providing feedback is asking too much).
