I was super excited to receive a callback from Uber and initially was contacted via email after submitting my resume on Glassdoor. I had a lovely conversation with HR and was told I would be moving to round 2. Round 2 was a video interview. I was given the option of Zoom, Google Hangouts, Bluejeans or FaceTime. Using Zoom, I connected immediately with the girl doing my interview and it went very well. I was jazzed when I was asked to come to the HQ for round 3. HR was a total open door and stayed in touch with me all the way to the morning of the interview. When I arrived my name was at the door, I signed in, was greeted by my HR contact and taken back to my room. Naturally I was asked if I needed anything (water, coffee, restroom...) before my interview began. I met with three lovely people and nailed the interview. I sent My thank you notes and waited.... My HR contact called me a few days later with the most sincere “sorry” call I have ever received. She explained that it was the most difficult decision between me and another candidate and in the end the other person was more align with the job description. (it’s all good & everything happens for a reason) She asked if I would consider other roles and if she could keep my resume active. Of course I said “yes.” I emailed her the next day asking for feedback and was sent a reply in less than 24 hours. I am SO IMPRESSED that 1. Uber treated me like gold from start to end. 2. I received a call (she sent an email as well but the call is what stands out) that was personal and heartfelt. This is the FIRST call I have received during the past 6 months of my job search. It really made the blow feel less rotten. 3. Not once have I received a response from my email asking for feedback when I haven’t landed a job. Not once. And here Uber did respond and in less than 24 hours. IMPRESSED FROM START TO FINISH.

Great questions, recruiter was able to describe company culture very well and overall a very pleasant and positive experience. He could clearly define an average working day working as EA at Uber.
