I had a phone screen by recruiter who was distracted, bored, disinterested and either was not interested in me or my qualifications or had already made up her mind. She barely could formulate a question to ask me. I had to help her because she would ask me to hold on a minute while she did something and then she would come back and act like she couldn't remember where she was. She asked me very few questions about my resume and almost zero follow up questions after I would answer her. I heard alot of shuffling and desk noise during the call. She offered nothing new about the role and when I asked her questions she didn't know anything. At the end I was forced to ask her what next steps were. She said after she convened with the hiring manager she would get back to me about on site interviews. I asked if I didn't hear in a couple of weeks should I contact her. She seemed surprised and told me it would be early the next week. The entire next week went by and I received an email with the non specific rejection reason. Awful experience.
