J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 3 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez US Postal Service (Raleigh, NC) en oct. 2015
Entretien
I initially applied for the Rural Carrier position in September and I took the exam 3 days later. After I received my score, I got a email 2 weeks later inviting me to interview with the supervisor.
The interview process took about 2 hours but was simple, as technically applicants weren't interviewed individually. The group interview just consist of the supervisor giving details about the position.
Two days after the group interview, I received an email to take the drug test. About a couple days later, I received an acceptance letter (conditional employment offer) for the position...I accepted.
Now apparently, I'm waiting on the background investigation to be completed. Once that is completed, I should be receiving a date for orientation. I was told the background check can take up to 3 weeks.

No interview. Received an email with a job offer and orientation was scheduled a few weeks later. Called the postmaster on the job listing to get more information in between the offer and orientation.

Question 1
No questions were asked as there was not an interview process.
Not really an interview. If you pass the background check you have the job. The United States Postal Service does not require a traditional interview. Very easy. I love it here.

There was no interview. I pretty much just took a test and they sent me back a conditional offer. When I got to my orientation with 3 other people they all had the same experience.
