It was a college interview so I went in through a different way. It was the typical questions asked when applying for college so it is not applicable to anyone who is entering through a recruiter. Just ensure if you have a college degree and go to a recruiter that you are at least considered for an officer program. i have had outstanding people who have worked for me who are enlisted who had phds and bachelors or associate degrees who were not told about the officer program to recruiters. I hope these individuals submit their officer packages because the navy needs their skills.

Applying to be a commissioned officer in the military (specifically the Navy, as this is my service) is completely different than civilian organizations. You may never meet the hiring manager when you interview. I have interviewed many people to become an officer, through different commissioning programs. I have completed a standard interviewing appraisal for each applicant that is then sent off to a hiring board for consideration.
