First is MEPS. This is where they test you mentally, medically and physically. There is a 3 hour ASVAB exam, they test your eyesight, depth perception, hearing, flexibility, and they take your BMI(Body Mass Index) and or your BCA(Body Composition Analysis). Then there is Basic Training! 7-9 Weeks of learning attention to detail, Naval tradition and courtesies, Naval history, team work and discipline. There are three written exams, a swimming test and three physical readiness test. You taught how to march and to work as one unit.

Really smooth and they answered all my questions. The team that I will be part of seemed to have a lot of knowledge and resources. Looking forward to this journey.
J'ai postulé via un recruteur. Le processus a pris 3 mois. J'ai passé un entretien chez US Navy (San Antonio, TX)
Entretien
Recruiter was dishonest about many things. Other recruiters in office remarkably unprofessional; attempting to form inappropriate relationships with young women who are trying to do something big in their lives. Would not recommend. There is no shame is speaking with other military branches(i.e. Air Force) before making a big decision like this.
Questions d'entretien [1]
Question 1
The Military asks about your entire life. Medical history, traffic record, criminal record, foreign family/friends, etc.
J'ai postulé en personne. Le processus a pris 2 mois. J'ai passé un entretien chez US Navy (Norfolk, VA) en août 2020

Very easy, basic questions. ASVAB test you have to take. Then from there you can choose a job based on availability. Then you go to MEPS and if you pass you get a leave date to leave for bootcamp.
