I was called into the interview and told that I was a candidate for the position. The interview was a wide ranging discussion more to determine compatibility than actual qualifications. The interviewer was already well acquainted with my work and background and was in the possession of recommendations from previous employers. The interview was a discovery of whether the position and committment were compatible with my career progression and timeline and with my family situation.
