J'ai postulé via la recommandation d'un employé. Le processus a pris 3 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez US Air Force (Sacramento, CA) en oct. 2010
Entretien
The interview was package based using a number of forms and identification. This consisted of a preliminary background questionnaire, educational background, medical history, and certain agreements to be made before progressing. After that package is submitted and accepted, then we are gather together for an interview either one on one or with a board where they ask very pointed questions about your personal life and desire to serve in the military. Questions range from leadership scenarios to simply describing previous experiences that you have excelled at and why those translate into you being a good military officer.

No interview required. This job is sometimes selected by the needs of the Air Force. You do not have to have a specific background or degree to qualify for this job. Logistics Officers get moved around in the squadron a lot but interviews aren't usually necessary as this is a part of officer development.
Le processus a pris 1 jour. J'ai passé un entretien chez US Air Force (Holloman Air Force Base, NM) en août 2009

To be offered a commission in the Air Force as an officer is different than enlisting in the military. First and foremost, you have to have a minimum of a 4 year bachelor degree, but it can be in various professions. The jobs available upon entry are more consistent with middle management and most times you will be responsible for a group of enlisted people who will work for you. There is an interview with a military officer who will ask various questions about your past history, to include any drug history, as you will face a background investigation for a security clearance. These days it is harder and harder to be offered a commission.
