J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 1 jour. J'ai passé un entretien chez UPS (Greensboro, NC) en août 2011
Entretien
I filled out an online application and was asked to come for what UPS described as a "meeting" or "tour". This is not really a formal job interview. I walked into a room of about twenty other applicants. We were hurried around the noisy facility, while straining to hear the HR rep talk about how grueling the job actually is. She told us that she had been at UPS for 10 years, and she was still part time. Talk about encouraging.
It is well known that part timers do get full benefits at UPS, what is not as well known is that fact that a person has to work there a solid year before the benefits actually kick in. This was a huge sticking point for me, as I do need health insurance. I wish UPS would have let me know this before I came to the facility.
Setup an appointment with the interviewer. Interviewed with a large group of applicants. They took us on a tour of the building during one of the shifts. It gave us an idea the job consists of and what we would be doing.
